How we treat

Chiropractic Manipulation (Adjustments)

Chiropractic Manipulation (Adjustments)

Chiropractic Manipulation (Adjustments)

This involves applying controlled force to joints in the spine to improve alignment, motion, and function. It is often associated with a 'popping' sound, similar to cracking knuckles, which is a painless release of gas from the associated synovial joint. This sound does not always occur, however the primary purpose of the adjustment is to create increased mobility and motion through the joints and this will occur with or without the popping sound.

Chiropractic Manipulation (Adjustments)

Chiropractors may use the activator to provide a chiropractic adjustment to the joints. It’s an effective alternative to traditional manual adjustments and is ideal for patients who prefer a more subtle approach or have conditions such as high blood pressure, osteoporosis, or other contraindications to manual manipulation.

This technique allows precise joint adjustments without the popping or twisting, helping to restore motion, reduce pain, and support nervous system function—all with minimal discomfort.

Sports Therapy

Chiropractic Manipulation (Adjustments)

Acupuncture/ dry needling

Sports therapy focuses on the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries related to physical activity and sports. It combines elements of physical therapy, injury management, and performance enhancement to help individuals recover from injuries, improve mobility, and prevent future issues.

Acupuncture/ dry needling

Sometimes acupuncture/ dry needling is used as a part of the treatment plan. These methods have been proven to work particularly well for acute and chronic pain, as well as tendinopathies such as tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis), painful muscular trigger points, arthritis of the hip and knee, chronic low back pain and cervicogenic headaches.

MLS Laser Therapy

Mobilisation Techniques

Laser therapy is a painless, non-invasive treatment that helps accelerate the body’s natural healing process. By delivering light energy deep into the tissues, it increases blood flow—bringing more oxygen and nutrients to the affected area. This helps reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and speed up recovery for both acute injuries and chronic conditions.
It's a safe and effective option for muscle strains, joint pain, inflammation, and more.

Cupping therapy

Cupping therapy involves placing suction cups on the skin to increase blood flow to the tissue. This technique has been used for thousands of years to promote healing and relaxation. Benefits include pain relief (especially back, neck and shoulders), stress relief, detoxification, reduced inflammation and enhanced recovery for athletes. Book in with Luke to try it out!

Electro-acupuncture

Electro-acupuncture

Electro-acupuncture

Electro-Acupuncture sends electrical impulses into the muscle, tendon, ligament or trigger point, through crocodile clips attached to the needles, contracting and relaxing the muscle, to reduce muscle tightness, reduce pain and increase circulation to aid in healing and rehabilitation.
